The customer was looking for a Pennsylvania style farm
house. The home was constructed with modern day
technology, which maintains the old look and
charm of a home from long ago. This 7,000 sq. ft.
home was constructed in a year's time and approximately 6
month of design time.

M. Kline Co. converted this East Hampton fishing cottage into a studio. Our company raised the whole cottage off the ground 10 feet to install a new masonry foundation.
The cottage was completely gutted and new plumbing, electrical systems and air conditioning were installed. The windows and doors were hand made. The windows matched the existing windows down to every detail. A new stucco exterior finish was applied to the cottage to match the color of the main house.
While M. Kline Co. was working on the project, the client requested installation of a new underground electrical service from the street to the main house and new electrical panels in the basement. M. Kline Co. also installed air conditioning in the main house.
The client wanted his unfinished basement remodeled. We were asked to design and build a new basement (see floor plan below). They wanted all the steel columns removed from the center of the basement so the space could be used. A structural engineer was called to design the new column lay out.
